about

PAY WHAT YOU WANT! Bandcamp have a minimum price of a dollar, so I put that.

These are sessions from 2002. For a long time I wasn't sure how to finish them. When I finally went back and dove into it, all my original intentions had become like a lost language and I had to approach the record afresh. Much was left intact and simply enhanced and some was rethought and rebuilt.

It's very much a document of a particular moment in my brain. And even though I don't even approach his depth, Sonny Sharrock's "Seize the Rainbow" was a guiding inspiration for the whole Letter 27 project.

I'm glad to see this finally get out into the light.
